Arsenal agree a £105m payout structure for Rice

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice, according to Sky Sports. A compromise on the structure of the £105 million deal was finalized last night.

It is understood Arsenal will pay an initial £100m over two years. One source has told Sky Sports News that Rice will undergo a medical this week before signing a long-term contract. The move would shatter Arsenal’s club transfer record (Nicolas Pepe from Lille for £72m in 2019) and would be the biggest transfer fee between the two English clubs.

Chelsea expect Caicedo discount

Brighton continue to demand £100m for Moises Caicedo in talks with Chelsea – but the Blues are optimistic about bagging a discount. After seeing a bid of £60m turned down, The Guardian reports Chelsea believe a deal can be struck at £80m as they want to split their valuation gap.
