Kaizer Chiefs haven’t won a major trophy in a long time and they are desperate to win something. Players understand the responsibilities and challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming season. Arthur Zwane had time to build a team so that next season they would compete for the title. Kaizer Chiefs really need to win something and the fans have been very patient with the team, so they owe it to their loyal fans who continue to support the team even if they don’t win.

Mamelodi Sundowns have dominated the Premier League over the last few seasons, winning it a record 6th time in a row. Kaizer Chiefs is the team that will most likely end Mamelodi Sundowns’ dominance. What Sundowns archive is very rare in football to win the title 6 times in a row, usually a different team every season. I don’t think Sundowns will be able to make it seven in a row because next season might be a little different.

I strongly disagree with those who think Kaizer Chiefs are a fallen behemoth, Kaizer Chiefs have built the perfect team to dominate the league over the next few seasons. It won’t be easy but they are well equipped and on track under the leadership of Arthur Zwane and Darlon Shephard.

Kaizer Chiefs have shown so much improvement last season, sadly they lost the few games they could have won. They need to make some adjustments to regroup and come back stronger next season. I really believe Kaizer Chiefs are on the right track and they will surprise everyone next season. Their squad is still a young team with some experienced players like Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat, they are playing well showing a lot of improvement.
